Recruit OU students
Visit our Career and Life Design Center and create a free Handshake account. You can then recruit an intern, register for career fairs and more!
Career training and professional development
We offer online and face-to-face professional development courses that lead to professional certificates to jump start your career. For employers, we also customize courses to meet the training needs of your employees.
Host an event on campus
The Oakland Center has 18 meeting rooms, some which can be combined to accommodate groups of up to 600 people. We can accommodate a variety of events including weddings, runs and walks, summer camps, meetings, conferences and more.
College Readiness for K-12 students
Oakland University supports Project Upward Bound for Pontiac and Oak Park high school students and school outreach experiences for all students that prepare K-12 students for college. Students can join PUB as long as their zip code is in one of the cities mentioned above including school of choice students and students who attend charter or religious schools.
Summer camps and academic workshops
Oakland University offers a variety of summer camps, field trips and school outreach experiences.
Things to do on campus
Yes! Our campus is open to the public. Attend an event, purchase a membership to our recreation center, splash in the fountain by the carillon, walk or bike our trails and more.
